Southport Coolco Meet Where: Southport Aquatic Centre When: Saturday (31 July) Warmup: 8.00am – you need to be there by 8am Racing Starts: 9.00am
Timekeepers are required. If you are competing your family will need to provide a timekeeper for a minimum of 1 hour. Please ensure you do your part. It is a requirement of the carnival that our club provide timekeepers.

We need your help. Please volunteer for the day to ensure our carnival runs smoothly.
Please email me by return how you would like to assist. We are in need to bbq helpers and timekeepers for the day. A roster will be done up for each family to assist. If you have a preference you should let me know.

Club Presentation Evening
What a great night was had by all at the Southport RSL Club. The evening went off without a hitch and was thoroughly enjoyed by the 150 attending guests.
Congratulations to all Swimmers, Age Champions and Award Winners, what a fantastic season you have all had.
Special thanks must go to the amazing Kim Cook, for organizing such a fabulous evening and a very big thank you to our Head Coach Jon Cook, for an exceptional 2009-2010 Season in the pool.

Helensvale Swimming Club ranked 49th in the State with great improvements from last years racing.
Our team beat some fancied local clubs including Superfish, Nerang,
AB Patterson and Surfers Paradise Swim Clubs to finish 49th out
of over 250 Clubs in the State Pointscore.
Well done swimmers – you did us proud.

Queensland Open Water Swimming Championships
Brodie Cook 5th Place 13 year old boys 5km Swim
Roger Cook 6th Place 13 year old boys 5km Swim
Ben Senden 5th Place 12 year Old boys 2.5km Swim
Brodie and Roger have now qualified to swim in the Australian Open Water Swimming Championships in February 2010.
Unfortunately, Ben is not old enough to compete at the Australian Championships and will have to wait another year.
Congratulations boys on a fantastic effort!

Queensland Heritage State SC Championships
The Heritage Qld Short Course Championships commence on the 28th August 2009 at the Brisbane Aquatic Centre, Chandler for a jam packed weekend of swimming.
